This site is dedicated to the memory of my Grandaddy, John William Jordan.
Granddaddy was born in Concord, NC on June 15, 1923. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII and was stationed in the South Pacific Theater. He was always smiling and I can still remember every encounter we had started with "hey baby" in that crisp loving voice, all the way until the end. The most important thing in his life was his family. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family. Please feel free to look and add pictures under "Gallery" or watch the videos under "Videos", look at the stories under "life stories" and share a story at times when you remember a special time,add something to the "Timeline" in which you remember or in the "Journal" and also light a candle for him at any time you feel that he is on your mind!...

Yesterday was one year from when u have been gone, and i missed u so much. I could see it in almost everyones face that they felt it too.. I love u so much....................................... hope u had a happy thanksgiving in Heaven.

Grandaddy, this week has been really hard for me. I have broken down and cried several times. Ive been ill and mean to my husband and family at times and im sorry. I just wish you were here with me right now holding my hand. I miss you.. please come to thanksgiving with us and let all of us feel your presence as this day is going to be one of the hardest days of our lives. I love you so much, btw I talked to grandmommy tonight she said she had been upset too today.. we both said that we knew you were with us and taking care of us. I know in my heart you are, you are probably beside me as we speak. Maybe you could visit me in my dreams tonight. I miss you. night
