Thanking you for one more day I rememember you with those strong hands and that smile that would light up a room you were the person who would always understand not that one that would just assume With everyday that passes I miss you more I still at times wish you would walk through the door even though its clear your keeping me safe maybe just once more I could see your face If i could see you, the first thing id do Is put my arms around you and would say I miss you After speaking those words id look up above Then id realize why I have so much love It was you all along who filled me with faith Even those days I thought it was too late Just remembering that smile and those kind words you would say id then thank you granddady for just one more day Clearly you see all we have been through One of the reasosn to hold on is you I believe in your love from way up high You presence is seen all through the sky So the reason I write is to thank you For thinking of me and all that you do Everyday you are with me, holding my hand Now we all know and can understand Thank you, Written by Emily Boyd
